the misty lake

I'm obsessed with misty nature pictures.

Driving home through the countryside during the early morning hours, when the mist is covering the fields and woods around the road is almost spiritual. You see God's fingerprints and detailed beauty so concretely that it sends shivers down your spine.

To my disappointment, however, capturing such scenes seems quite hard. The misty parts tend to become somehow flat, and seem almost to harm the scene more than they contribute to it. So... if there's anybody out there with ideas of how to make it more alive, please share!
